Singapore Day 4: National Library, Singapore

by - Monday, February 20, 2017

National Library, Singapore was established in 1923 that served as the public library. It is located in 100 Victoria Street between Bugis Junction and Bras Basah Complex. The library was moved on this location in 2005.

Without further ado, we visited the library, which is just a walking distance from our hotel. We walked for about 500 meters from the hotel and took us 7 minutes.

Unfortunately, it rained a lot so I wasn't able to capture the beauty of the whole building (outside).

Here's the map directory of the building. We weren't able to explore the whole building and only went to L2 (comfort rooms) and basement area (Central Public Library).

As you entered the building, you will see this beautiful lobby.

Comfort rooms are located in the 2nd level.

The Central Public Library is located in the basement area.

I love the setup of the library, which is a bit different for ones we have in the Philippines.

How about you? Have you been here? How was your experience?
