Hard Rock Cafe in Singapore is located in 50 Cuscaden Road, #02-01, HPL House, Singapore and was established in 1990. It is part of the iconic restaurant chain Hard Rock Cafe, Inc., which was established in 1971 by Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton in London, United Kingdom.

Hard Rock is a haven for fans of music, food, and great experiences.

Without further ado, we visited this place to celebrate my aunt's 60th birthday. It's not my first time to go here because I've been here last 2014 with my cousins. We took MRT from Bugis Station to Orchard Station and walked going to Cuscaden Road.

Upon reaching the cafe, we went straight to the reserved tables and had a good time there listening to the live band.

Hard Rock Cafe is not just a restaurant. It is a place where you can hang-out with your family and friends.

The cafe is open from Mondays to Thursdays 11:30 am - 12:00 am and Fridays to Sundays 11:30 am - 2:00 am.

The trip in Singapore is not complete if you will not go to Chinatown. Chinatown is an area with rich Chinese culture. It is filled with restaurants, shops, museums and also temple.

How to go there?

Take MRT to Chinatown Station and take Exit A.

What to see?

Buddha Tooth Relic Temple - Build in 2007, it is a five-storey temple with extensive collections of Buddhist culture, art and history. It is opened daily, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Singapore Coins and Notes Museum - It is the country's first and only museum dedicated to display the Singapore's currency. It is opened from 10 am to 8 pm.

Where to eat?

Maxwell Road Hawker Center - It is located opposite of Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Note: It is very crowded during lunch hours on weekdays.

Chinatown Food Street - It is located on Smith Street. It is the one of the best places to eat cheap and tasty authentic food in Singapore.

Yes! It's a good place to shop for "pasalubongs".

As I said on my previous post, our second day was a rainy day. After our 1-hour tour in Gardens by the Bay, we went to Marina Bay Sands. Me and my sister really want to go to the Sands SkyPark Observation Deck. Unfortunately, we also failed to go there. :(

So what we did was we strolled around the Shoppes inside the Marina Bay Sands and had a dinner at Rasapura Masters (24-Hour Food Court with 24 Local Hawker Stalls) there.

After our half-day trip in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, we headed to Gardens by the Bay. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day. I told my Mom that to maximize our time (only spent 1 hour) and to save money for this trip, we will just avail their shuttle service, which costs SGD 3!!! That's only Php 110+ per pax.

What I really want to try back then was the OCBC Skyway and to have photo-ops there. Maybe we will explore it more next time (3rd time).

Back to the topic, we just availed the SGD$ 3 shuttle service, which runs at 10-minute intervals. The loop service is from the entrance (Bayfront MRT) to the Conservatories. It is open at 9:00 am to 9:00 pm daily.

Note: You can't enter any conservatories because you don't have an entrance ticket. The deal here is you can take photo(s) of the surroundings and you won't soak wet because of heavy rain. :)

How to get here?

Via MRT (Circle Line / Downtown Line): Take MRT going to Bayfront (CE1 / DT16). Take Exit B and follow the signage. Exit and cross the Dragonfly Bridge or Meadow Bridge to Gardens by the Bay.

I've been to Singapore way back 2014 and I posted my experience on my other blog post: My 7-day Singapore and Malaysia Travel Experience. My companions were the same as my first trip here but this time, I was with my mom and my sister. Yey!

The photo was taken at NAIA Terminal 3.

Our flight from Manila to Singapore was 1:40 pm to 5:10 pm. It's a bit late, right? But we were able to catch the sunset. 😁

Our trip from airport to hotel was very smooth. Thanks to Maxi Cab, which we availed for only SGD 60 / Php 3000+. How cheap, right? At first, we were considering to take 3 taxis to go to the hotel but due to this Singapore Limousine Taxi Cab, we didn't part ways.

When I searched it at home, I learned that Maxi Cab, is one of the largest and luxurious limousine cab in Singapore. It's a 7-seater airport transfer taxi that's been a top-choice of business or group travelers. It has an ample space to fit up the 7 passengers including the luggages.

Valentine's Day is quietly approaching. My sister invited me to join her because she won a lunch buffet at Senju Restaurant for 2 persons (valid until June 2017) in an online contest. We opted to try it today (February 11) to celebrate Valentine's Day. I was very happy that my sister treated me a lunch for today because I often treat her to different places, restaurants, etc.

It was our first time to dine in and eat in one of the best restaurants of Edsa Shangri-La. There are 5 restaurants in the area: HEAT, Paparazzi, Summer Palace, The Bakeshop and Senju.

Senju Restaurant offers authentic Japanese cuisine such as sushi, maki and sashimi to name a few. The lunch hours is from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm daily while the dinner hours is from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm daily. The restaurant is located in 2nd floor, Tower Wing.

Matsuri Lunch Buffet is the Japanese lunch buffet during the weekend. It costs Php 2,000 per person. It has an array of fresh Japanese specialties, which was prepared by Japanese Executive Chef Yusuke Hino. They also offers reservations. Just visit this site for more details: Matsuri Lunch Buffet.

Our experience was great! I felt that we own the restaurant because we were the only ones eating there. 😏

I guess this restaurant is best for a romance date. Hehe. But for us, it was a sister's date. I felt that we were Vern and Verniece of at this point in time.
